Thailand's tourism authority places Phuket in southern Thailand on the Andaman Sea and identifies it as the country's largest island. For a useful hotel decision, decide whether you will spend most days inside a resort, use the beach as a base, or travel regularly for activities elsewhere. The location, room layout and facilities should follow that itinerary.

The official tourism source establishes Phuket's location and size, but it does not substantiate a ranking of its coasts or promise calm water at any beach. Compare real properties rather than assuming every west-coast or southern hotel has the same access.

Compare the room you would actually book
A villa category name cannot establish a view, degree of privacy, pool layout or walking distance.
